Spring!

I am at that point in my spring gardening chores where I run from one thing to another, a bit overwhelmed by all that needs to be done. (plus this has been a VERY rainy spring, for Utah).. I feel 'behinder' than usual.
I did see something new, in all my hurry -

don't know why I've never seen the Japanese threadleaf maple leafing out before.
Incredible!
Happy spring to all!

I have done a total of two of my spring gardening chores: plant six yellow pansies and plant six pink impatients. Oh, wait. I have bought forty-'leven other plants and some seeds. And still it rains--well not today but still...nothing is done. At least you looked at something and took a photo.

forty-'leven?? I wish I had that many plants to plant!!! Something about gardening brings out my covetous side and I love to acquire plants and then struggle to get them planted. Although, if you count the struggling tomato seedlings, I prob DO have that many, too. At least we can blame the unusually wet spring for not getting them planted , instead of ourselves :)

That is a new tree for me...very unusual. Must google it! We have also had a wet spring and it sure messes with the timetable...especially now that summer is here. gail
