GREEN THUMB SUNDAY- First Harvest

I knew the tomatillos were ready, but I found this first zucchini today when I was out watering and weeding in my garden. What shall I make with my first harvest?

The green beans will be ready next week, I think.

And this tomato is the closest one to being ripe.

tomatillos are a small green round veggie, it has a husk, has a lemony taste and the texture of tomatoes, I guess? good in salsa and Mexican dishes

Zuchchini is one of my favorites. I don't grow them, but we have them all summer, just sliced and steamed. Yum!

I've heard of tomatillos before, but this is the first time I've ever seen what one looks like. Very interesting!
