Show and Tell Friday - another find from Tai Pan Trading

It's Friday again, and time for Show and Tell. Head over to Kelli's blog to check out all the action!

I found this cute dish at Tai Pan trading. I am thinking it is a chain, but I don't know if it is nationwide, or not. I do know that it is too much fun to go and walk thru every aisle, and see what kind of great 'stuff' they have.
I have a particular weakness for glass dishes. I bought this last fall, and haven't used it yet. I need to come up with something fun to do with it, any suggestions? Best of all, it wasn't very expensive!

I would like to see summer
fruit salad in the bowl.
The daisy glass bowl would show
off the colors of the fruit.
Pretty for your table.

Depending on how large it is...I'm thinking perhaps some scented candle and dried flowers of contrasting color ---sitting on the vanity top of a bathroom or near a mirrored wall? It's pretty! I'd like that myself! LOL

Take care...hope you have a minute or two to drop by my show n tell!! I'd love to have you visit with me. Today I have something I received, from a special blogging friend!! Come join me?

Happy weekend.

Your glass dish is lovely. I would be tempted to put some delicate candies in there or perhaps some dried flowers.

Thank you for sharing. :)

That is such a pretty and delicate dish. I think I would put either dried flowers in it or candy. I could see those pretty pastel mints in there. Have a lovely day.

You have found a beautiful dish. I liked all of the suggestions above for what to put in it. You could maybe float some real blooms in water in it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog

Our weather in Ohio just started getting warmer. It has been a long winter. Being from Ohio I'm sure you remember that. I know where Bryan, Ohio is. Do you like Utah better?

Very pretty dish. I see it full of chocolate candies on the coffee table. YUM!

I think you could liven it up by painting the outside with some stained glass (transparent) paints. I think you can get them that are washable, so you could paint it and then remove the paint if you didn't like it.

I think you made a great find!

I love pretty glass dishes too. I like to use them as serving dishes during a nice meal so I don't usually put anything in them. I love the ideas you've been given, though. I think I may start looking at some of my dishes in a different way now.

What a lovely dish. I see flowers in it or wrapped candies. I think it's pretty just on it's own. Linda

Jaderocks- I like Ohio- it is home and where most of my family still lives. Utah has wonderful summers (I am not a skier, so the winters are just...long)
