Iris week continues, and yes, I missed Tuesday... mrk

This bi-color is called Pumpkin Cheesecake. It is blooming for the first time in my yellow/orange iris bed, and I am loving it!
It is looking good with these ruffled orange beauties as a backdrop.
Not surprisingly, I can't find the name for them. Maybe Summit Satin. sigh.
more Iris failure . I'll add that name if I EVER find it. bigger sigh.

Oh, that's a gorgeous color combo. Did you, by any chance, purchase that one at the big iris farm here in Utah? I would love to plant one!

All of a sudden.....I'm hungry....for something like pumpkin cheesecake.

Gorgeous flower, simply gorgeous. I've never seen an iris like this one.

I am thrilled, myself , that the colors are working together. I get a lot of my irises at Blue J iris (an internet company) or good old Wal-mart. I'll have to present some color combo 'fails' later!
And I remembered where I saw that pumpkin cheesecake recipe - in a cook book written by the PBS folks who do that show - America Cooks? or .. ? Oh, shoot, now I can't find that book.
