My dogwood has looked a little shabby all year, but I was out in the morning as the sun came over the mountains. It is looking its best in the morning light, don't you think?
Your dogwood looks like it's in it's full glory! I think this time of year brings out the best some plants, don't you? If the summer gets them down, they realize now that they will live (me, too!) Have a great week! Chris
mrbrownthumb, We have rocks everywhere around here. I know people who come to our neighborhood to take rocks away for their yard. (And here, we pile them, rock-wall them, and sometimes curse them when they are in the wrong spot!) gardenmomma, I love the fall, and the cooler weather really does bring out the best in some plants that struggle in the heat, I find.

Nice colors but I like the rock wall int he back. I know I'm crazy but rocks are great. Unless you find them with a shovel in the ground.
