GREEN THUMB SUNDAY - rosemary

This little rosemary plant stayed in the 3" pot I bought it in. I don't know if it will make it thru the winter, but so far, so good. It is a nice surprise to have it bloom! When we lived in CA, we had some type of trailing rosemary that always bloomed, but I haven't had a rosemary bloom (or live) here in Utah before.
This is the view from our driveway, east towards the mountains. We have had snow fall almost every day since Christmas Eve, so there is quite a bit more, now. We are at 5, 000 feet on the 'bench', so if the valley gets 3 inches and the mountains get 2 feet, we get somewhere in between those two numbers. It is lovely. Maybe we'll go sledding today (I don't ski, unfortunately).

That is a gorgeous view. I've always loved seeing photos of fresh snow. It's nice to look at from a warm house, but I don't know that I could live in it. The same view in summer must be lovely too. Happy GTS and Happy New Year,
Aiyana

beautiful scenery!
Yesterday we took a trip to the upper penninsula and it was gorgeous like that for the first two hours of the drive. Of course that beauty made the roads rather slick and dangerous. Thankfully, we made it there and back.

Happy New Year!

All the that snow looks lovely.
How long have you been in Utah?
Was it weather shock when you moved?

We've been here 6+ years, we got here August 2001, right before 9-11. We've lived here before, so, no big shock. On the bench of the mountain, though, we always get more snow than the valley. The first winter I was surprised by the amound of snow we got.

Muum, you've got such a wonderful view! I think every picture I've ever seen of Utah is pretty. You're lucky to have such views right out your windows!
