Show and Tell Friday is here, the day to share something special to you! This is sponsored by Kelli at There is no Place Like Home, so head over to join in.
Today I wanted to show something that has been with our family for over 20 years. It is a simple cross-stitch I made for my husband a long time ago, and has been with us thru six moves, and hangs in our bedroom now.
I love cross-stitch, but am very slow at it. So I wisely chose a quick project that I could do and finish !
Maybe you know the words to this song-
"I love you, a bushel and a peck,
A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck."
I think I have it right.

I love your show & Tell. I used to do alot of cross-stitch. Haven't done it in years. I should get one going again! Also, you asked about the difficulty of the doll in my post. It really wasn't that difficult of a pattern...really! Thanks for visiting.
This is very sweet. I enjoy cross stitching too. Linda
Boy, do I EVER know this song. My mother sand this song to all her grandkids...ALL the time!! You brought tears to my eyes with the memory. And I so envy you people who can do cross stitch work.
Mine is all about a project I did for fun this week, won't you stop by? Happy Weekend!!!
I haven't stitched in years but do so love it! I choose these complicated, time-consuming works and then it's no wonder I have a hard time finishing them!

My mother and brother and I sang it together. We changed the lyrics to "Ya betcher dirty neck I do."
