I'm trying to be a good sport, but really.....

Today's snow storm (the 3rd in a week) has dumped 12 plus inches on us. Church was cancelled.
I am quite tired of this stuff. Could we have a vote and have spring come next week?
You can see in this pic that myDH is shoveling snow up and over his height (he is 5-11).
This next shot shows the front yard, you may remember our yard stick that has been measuring snow. Good thing it is a four foot long yardstick. You can see that a regular 3 foot one would not be showing up anymore!

That's a lot of snow.
Just think how much nicer spring will be when it finally comes.
I vote for spring next week too.

We've been getting icy instead of snow. About an inch on Friday. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 50's! I'm sure glad I don't have to shovel all your snow!

Wow. You are really getting dumped on! We got some snow and freezing rain last night, but it's supposed to melt today and tomorrow.

Brrrrrr, everything looks so beautiful but I can't even imagine how cold it is.

Thank goodness for your beautiful violets...they do bring a touch of Spring your way.

Stay warm and cozy..Linda

I will not complain about Texas weather again (until it changes again). How do you drive in that?

Oh. My. Gosh. Muum! That is horrendous. Sure, pretty, but also pretty horrendous.

I think I would throw up if we had that much snow. And we just might, because the winter is not even close to over.

thanks to everyone for your sympathetic remarks. WE are too busy shoveling to throw up, and this is more snow than we've seen in the 7 years we've lived here. We are at 5,000 feet, but this is a lot of snow. I am getting some good upper body strength! As far as driving, our town's snow plow crew is outstanding, this is the very best snow removal service we've ever had, comparedto anywhere we've lived. And, although we drive small cars, we have studded tires, which are awesome!!!!!!!!
