This is a newly purchased and planted last fall iris for me. I love the coral-peach-tangerine tones in an iris. Anyone who has 'checked in' this week knows that I have an inordinate love for irises. I would have to say, though, that if roses are the queens of the plant world, irises would have to be the royal duchesses. They aren't around all the time, but when irises show up, they surely command attention and admiration.

Coral Sunset for Friday of Iris Week

I have been so enjoying your iris! I had no idea they came in so many pretty colors. Love this one!
You must be in your glory this time of year. Iris bloom season never lasts long enough. :)
